Who is this guy?
Jeff Morris is a long time arcade video game fan, and more recently, video game collector. He currently has two
working, partially restored vintage arcade game cabinets (Pac-Man and Berzerk), as well as several other project games. He
is also a collection of older computer systems used for gaming such as the Commodore Amiga, C128D, and C64, and a number of
vintage home video game consoles, such as the Atari 2600, ColecoVision, classic Nintendo, and Intellivision.
Jeff has been a registered member of
VAPs (the Video Arcade Preservation Society) since 1996, and has attended events such
as the VCF East (Vintage Computer Festival). He also frequently lurks and occasionally posts in the
rec.games.video.arcade.collecting usenet newsgroup.
In the Spring of 2003, Jeff offered to deliver a game for a fellow game collector, from
Ohio to Washington, DC. Having always loved to travel and see the country, he found delivering the game to be an enjoyable road
trip, that helped out a fellow collector and earned him a little extra cash at the same time. With that, this site was born,
in the hopes that more game deliveries could be made.
perhaps you just purchased an arcade video game from someone on eBay, or the rec.games.video.arcade.marketplace
newsgroup, and now you're wondering how the heck to get it home without spending a fortune with a shipping company? (These
things are too darn big to drop in a mailbox you know.) ;-) Look no further, Jeff can deliver your game for you, and if
you're in the midwest, he can probably do it for a very reasonable price as well!
Please keep in mind that GameMover is not a shipping company. There is no fleet of trucks here, nor any bureaucratic red
tape to deal with. Jeff is just an individual like you, with a passion for video games, who will be happy to personally
transport your games for you!
